| Hogun7811-23-07, 11:42 AM | I'm starting a campaing with a new character , and between his level there are some like primeval. My question is : is there any armor that i can use , and that rises mi AC even when i transform myself in the animal form ? I was thinking to use a flying shield, but i would like something more. Thank you for your suggestions. |
| Strogg11-23-07, 11:52 AM | as a house rule i let my player use the wild enchantment to do what you are asking, but other than that and an animated shield there not much you can do. |
| CryoSilver11-23-07, 11:53 AM | In Complete Adventurer (I think) there is Beasthide armor that transforms when you Wildshape. |
| Hogun7811-23-07, 11:55 AM | But primeval transformations is not like wildshaping... |
| CryoSilver11-23-07, 01:08 PM | Which is why you say to your DM "Dude, I just spent a crap-ton of gold on this enhancement. It should work for my shapeshifting." |
| tenguroEd11-24-07, 12:22 AM | where is primevil again? sorry for using this topic for this question. |
| Meep22211-24-07, 01:34 AM | I'm also confused about where it is/what it is, but to the topic, an animated shield, if activated before the transformation, or you transform into something that could activate the shield in it's altered form, it will work for as long as the animated property worked. As an aside, wonderous items will work for a wild shaped/transformed as long as they are able to be in a similar position, an amulet could become a collor for example, or if they have the wildling clasp on it. |
