Fanged Fremont 07-13-06, 04:15 PM	I'm making a shifter druid and I want to specialize in claw and other natural attacks. I was wondering if there were any templates, items, or feats that would give me improved grab? I know feral has it and it would fit the character but my DM is iffy on allowing it as I am in taking it.

Fanged Fremont 07-13-06, 04:29 PM	Dunno what forgotten realms book Snatch is out of but it's not in the consolidated list of feats and the only Snatch feats that are there require you to be huge or larger.
Dark_Mime 07-13-06, 04:32 PM	I'm not 100% sure on if you keep it when you wild shape, but the Feral Template from Savage Species gives you that and a bunch of other neat abilities and is only LA +1, however it is a 3.0 book so ask your DM

Jovknee 07-14-06, 07:42 AM	Snatch is 3.0, from Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting and also in Player's Guide to Faerūn Player's Guide to Faerun came out in March 2004, 3.5 started in 2003 (June or July I think). So Player's guide to Faerun is 3.5, it came out with the changed needed for the Campain settings book. Also I do beleive that WotC stated that anything not changed in 3.0 is still usable in 3.5.
tarkin 07-14-06, 11:10 AM	1) It might be 3.5, I am not sure. 2) WoTC has NEVER EVER SAID that 3.0 is fine. That is a common Power Gamer house rule. As a general rule, thinking or believing that will get you into a lot of trouble at a WoTC approved game. Stricter games: No 3.0 stuff at all. Looser games: Selected 3.0 stuff, as approved by the DM only after careful examination. Expect major DM modifications if it involves things like DR that has been changed by 3.5. Power Game: 3.0 stuff assumed to be valid for 3.5, unless WoTC specifically says otherwise or the DM says no. A smart Power DM will probably still realize that DR has been cut in half, so still might modify DR or similar stuff. Anything Goes Game: Sure, any feat you want, no DM oversight.
babysamurai 07-14-06, 11:14 AM	The feat "Scorpion's Grasp" from Sandstorm grants your character Improved Grab, and another nifty ability.
