Lets say you're a githzerai(+6 dex), therefore 24 max dex, and you take combat reflexes. thats 7 AoOs per round. Any suggestions on how these might all be utilized. My best idea would be spiked chain + greater invisibility + sneak up behind a row of enemy archers, then wait for them to release a volley. Assuming the row is only one man deep, you would have 5 AoOs provoked. I can't imagine a DM worth his salt would let you get away with this more than once. Anyone else have any good ideas on spells, feats that would make 7 Aoos possible on a regular basis, or even just 3 or 4? Assume that the DM in this situation is reasonably intelligent, but, on the other hand, will let you get away with it if you have the rules to back you up.

um youve discovered ELEMENTARY cheese. your actions are far from broken.

wait till that guy gets mobbed by low cr monsters. THEN you'll see how bad it gets.

ah the point is not to see how cheesy one can get (not necessarily) i just want to spark some tactical discussion about provoking tons of AoOs in interesting ways.

I devised a nasty little tactic for my some of the more skilled guards in my city:
Assuming the PCs encounter six of them, this is how it's go:

GGG
GGG
P

G = Guard
P = Player

Now, assuming the player charges, as most fighters min/maxed for low int/wis should if acting in character; the front guards get 3 attacks each, two of them AoOs, the back three get 2 each, one AoO. They have 14 dex, hold the line, combat reflexes and ranseurs.

Now, if you want to be very mean make them try to trip over and over until they succeed, then the remaining attacks go for damage, or maybe disarm. Now, of course, as seen in a million AoO trip reach builds they each get AoOs when the PC gets up. And, the non-AoOs are from readied attacks.

Now, I know this isn't anything really original, but I thought it would be nice to have some henchmen NPCs use tactics for a change.
