AoO's vs Set to Recieve a Charge [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-17-07, 04:30 PM Okay so a character w/a longspear has set to recieve a charge enemy charges and he misses. But the enemy continues charging and thus provokes an AoO (it's a reach weapon) the weapon is no longer "set to recieve a charge" right? So the AoO is normal not double. Or is it?

Double damage is only given on the attack readied against a charge, any other incidental attacks that occur do not have their damage doubled as a result of said charge.
