| Cunning Gnome12-24-04, 06:56 PM | I was wondering if someone could confirm weather u can make a trip attempt with an attack of oppotunity. |
| masterofmayhem12-24-04, 07:18 PM | Yes. A trip is an "attack." You can take an "attack action" (not a standard action) with an AoO. From the 3.5 SRD: Making an Attack of Opportunity: An attack of opportunity is a single melee attack, and you can only make one per round. |
| Egres12-24-04, 09:37 PM | From the SRD: 7 These attack forms substitute for a melee attack, not an action. As melee attacks, they can be used once in an attack or charge action, one or more times in a full attack action, or even as an attack of opportunity. |

At least, that used to be the case - iirc, the 3.5 rules offer a loophole that allows you to make AoOs with a weapon you don't threaten with as long as you wield another one that does. |
