I have a quick question : can I make an AoO with my off-hand.

I'm planning on makeing a rogue/fighter that uses 2 Kusari-gamas (DMG, light weapon with 10' reach), though I am thinking about getting the rapier of puncturing (DMG). Since the rapier is not a light weapon, I have to wield it as primary weapon. So I have a non-reach weapon in my primary hand and a reach weapon in my off-hand. Can I use my off-hand to make an AoO with the reach-weapon (if yes, do I still take the -2 for fighting with 2 weapons, since I only use 1 to make the AoO)

All help would be greatly appreciated

Yes, you can make an attack of opportunity with either weapon.

I think when you fight with two weapons the penalty lasts until your next turn, in which case the AoO would take the -2 penalty.

Just so you know, there is a cool feat called DOUBLE HIT in the Miniatures Handbook that lets you strike with 2 weapons when making an AoO.

Thanks, I'm sorry to say that mini handbook is not allowed.
