arcane archer spell failure ? [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-11-08, 02:46 AM I tried searching for this and couldn't find anything.
I'm just wondering, so if someone goes to arcane archer prestige class i'm assuming if that pc wears armor and casts a spell they suffer a % spell failure based on the armor type correct?

03-11-08, 02:50 AM Correct. Having levels in Arcane Archer does not negate the need to make ASF checks while in armor. There are methods around ASF, with twillight mithral chain shirts being a common solution. The twillight property is listed in the PH2.

03-11-08, 03:05 AM ok i thought so, but i don't have my books in front of me (using online stuff etc. etc.) to attempt to create a rival NPC group for my group of pc's. and one has arcane archer w/elven chain mail.
