They pump some gold and XP into it and bingo 26 charges and they are off to dungeon. Of course becasue they have all this healing they are a little bit too cocky. Heh heh heh. |

They can start with upto 100 charges, each charge can recharge any other magic item, or allow an additional use/day for an x/day item. They also have some other powers not related to charges. ------------ That said, Unearthed Arcana offered optional rules for recharging magic items. These official non-core optional rules impose a 10% penalty I.E. For a Staff that costs 50,000 gp to make fully charged, it costs 1,100 to recharge it one charge, not 1,000 gp. ------------------------ Finally, you are also allowed to buy and sell used magic items. Generally when people go shopping for staff/wands I roll d100. If over 50, the item is fully charged. Otherwise it has that many charges left and the price is reduced proportionalitly. |

The first one lasted one day before DM was voted overwhelming from DMing again (Even the DM was part of the people not wanting himself to DM...) And was thinking about graping craft staff at 12, Since an Teifling Warlock I'd thought it be cool to go around with an impressive looking staff, so maybe I'll just have to remake the staff a few times if I go that path. The way it looks I might just have to make the staff just for a healing spell (For some really odd reason no one in our group plays clerics favored souls or druids, and when someone makes one everyone ends up making one, the joys of lack of group planning!) |
