So, here we have the Bone Knight, honorific champion of Karrn, raising the white banner, doing a bunch of stuff with Undead without actually being evil. Oh, Eberron, you forward-thinking setting, you.

He’s got this rockin’ armor, right? It’s made of bone. Well, it uses bone, I guess it’s a composite material or something, but the point is, it’s not Steel, it’s not Adamantine, and it’s not Mithral.

It’s worth keeping around, because it grants a few nifty and totally mundane (Read: Extrodonary) traits to anyone that happens to have proficiency with it. Foremost is an eventual immunity to critical hits, sneak attack damage, nonlethal damage, ability drain, and other tidbits, plus a bit of DR.

But I rather like the reduced Armor Check and additional DEX bonus that Mithral grants. Obviously, I have a few plusses freed up by virtue of the innate features that Bonecraft Armor grants, so I’d like to put a bit of my resources into making it lighter and a bit more flexible.

Any suggestions? I have most every book available to me, after a bit of searching though materials owned by friends and whatnot.

Metalline works for armor as well as weapons maybe?

Magic of Faerun has the Nimbleness enhancement: Gives +2 max dex bonus and -1 armor check penalty for +1 market price.
