I never heard of anything like the so why not make stats your self?

I guess I'll make the stats. I was thinking that it could have the range and weight of a light crossbow, the damage, type and critical of a sling. I would make it a exotic weapon, but I can't think up of a price. I hope this helps. Oh, the damage and critical would be if the character used the small catapult to fling rocks or aimed the alchemists fire, holy water, or acid at the target.

You mean a "wrist rocket"? Which isn't a D&D weapon but its short of like a slingshot... except it goes on your wrist...

They had stats for a hand-catapult in Dragon magazine once, but that was in 2E. I don't remember seeing one sense then.

There was such an item in The Arms & Equipment Guide (3.0).

Are you sure CryoSilver? I have the book and I didn't see anything like that in there. Why not use the stats that I put together. I'll put them together for everyone.

Name: Arm catapult; Cost: tba; Dmg(s): 1d3; Dam(m): 1d4; Critcal: x2; Range Increment: 80 ft.; Weight: 4 lb.; Type: Bludgeoning.

If it straps to the arm, I would have it take up the sheild spot.

Why not use a sling? Or say exotic sling of any sort?

Well I think we would, but the closest I thing I can think of would be a sling shot. But I don't think rubber was around back then so the next best thing would be a tiny arm catapult.

well, if you can reload a hand crossbow by hand, it is not too hard to imagine that you could make a wrist-mounted crossbow with a big pouch for projectiles that you pull back and fire as a slingshot (recurve is given by the bow part)...

The item that you're looking for is the Gnome Calculus in the Arms & Equipment Guide, pg 6, stats on page 7.

Thanks,
so we can assume that it follows the same guidelines as a sling then?
as far as reload time...

and then you can add special properties to it....like shocking and flaming?

It sounds like a staff-sling...
