ein9 05-22-07, 09:12 PM	In my current game, one of the player's pointed out that a character has both armor of braces and MW banded mail. The player has said that these do not stack. I am not sure, so I humbly ask you, the internet. Does the AC bonus from armor and braces of armor stack?
primemover003 05-22-07, 09:20 PM	Nope they do not stack... Both items provide Armor Bonuses and same named bonuses do not stack (except Dodge and unnamed bonuses). They do overlap, meaning that a Dex 10 Fighter with chainmail and Bracers of Armor +2 would normally have an AC of 15. Against an incorporeal foe like a shadow his Armor wouldn't help him out at all! However the Bracers provide Force armor which incorporeal foes cannot bypass so his AC would be 12 against the shadow.

penchant 05-22-07, 10:05 PM	always remember that bonuses of the same type don't stack. An armor bonus is an armor bonus.
