Armor enchantment to remove max dex limit ? [Archive] - Wizards Community

is there any official enchantment for armors to remove or at least lessen the maximum dexterity bonus restriction.

in our epic campaign that's a little PITA, having dex >30 but not getting all of it on AC.
okay, I know of bracers, but ain't that uncool for samurais?

05-15-06, 05:48 AM mithril increases the max dex, as well as the enchantment nimbleness (from 3.0 magic of faerun IIRC)

right now I've dealt with the DM that a +1's worth increases max dex bonus by 2. is that unfair (towards the DM)? :D

05-15-06, 03:44 PM Put a reverse version of glamoured on bracers! When activated it makes you look like you're wearing armor!

05-16-06, 01:15 AM A +1 armor enhancement is totally unfair to the PC. It would be worthless. Sacking an extra +1 enhancement that gives you 1 AC anyway for an extra 2 max dex bonus that is going to give you 1 AC? make it +1 ability for 4 max dex then your talking or nimbleness works also 1 AC and 1 chk. (i think that is nimbleness)

05-16-06, 03:22 PM In Arms and Armour 3.5 by Bastion Press, there is a enchantment called "Weightless". It will allow the charactor max dex and movement as though not wearing any armour. The DM in my game has allowed me to use this and makes wearing +2 full plate much easier.
