| zack850207-08-07, 08:03 PM | Hey, im relatively new to the game and only have 3 books, i have a human knight character that wears full plate, i was wondering if there was a better set of armor for him  |
| Ged Coldplain07-08-07, 08:07 PM | Well, enchanted full-plate sounds good does it not? The Dungeon Masters Guide have special materials that you can make your fullplate out of too |
| zack850207-08-07, 08:10 PM | yeah, ill have to look into that, thanks:) |
| Ged Coldplain07-08-07, 08:14 PM | If that is not enough, Races Of Stone include such armour as Heavy Plate, Battle Plate and Mountain Plate, most weigh around 100lb + so encumbrance might be a issue |
| zack850207-08-07, 08:17 PM | alright lol looks like ill be getting some more books, but would the knights armor mastery ability negate the weight of the armor? |
| Ged Coldplain07-08-07, 08:22 PM | No, just the speed penalty on the armour itself, if you become encumbered those penalties igrone the knight ability. (the mountain plate negates the dwarf and knight speed ability, and drops even a dwarwen knight down a in speed :P) |
| zack850207-08-07, 08:27 PM | oh alright, thanks! mountain plate sounds like some heavy stuff haha |
