If you mean what type of class may be adept at making this sort of stuff, then wizards are the most likely candidates since they could choose the craft magic armor feat as a bonus, and with magic, all things are possible. After that, any other caster class, artificer in Eberron, maybe some eccentric dwarf or gnome expert. It all depends on the technology in your game. If you think steam-powered armor with a little boiler attached like a backpack is fitting, then accepting a holy water reserve that you can fire at range is not a real leap. If it's all magic, then it's all magic... If there is an acid splash, why not a holy water splash? Once you have the spell, it's just a matter of figuring out what you want to put it in. |
| kaizer_soatze08-15-06, 01:32 AM | I am not seeing if you can just seeing who can come up with cool stuff :) |
| WhiteHarness08-15-06, 04:57 AM | I know something cool... ...it's called Punctuation. It has a cool accessory that goes with it, called Spelling. ;) I intend no offense toward you, chief, but if you want your questions to be understood then you're going to have to obey at least some grammar rules. I have difficulty making sense of what you wrote in your first post. |
| kaizer_soatze08-15-06, 01:08 PM | you're not the first to tell me :) |
| Subedei08-15-06, 01:16 PM | I find your "chief" remark offensive on a multitude of levels. |
| kaizer_soatze08-15-06, 01:18 PM | ok & .....? |
| WhiteHarness08-15-06, 01:31 PM | I find your "chief" remark offensive on a multitude of levels. What? Why on earth would you find that offensive? |
| Subedei08-15-06, 02:34 PM | Oh, I suppose it would be kind of hard to notice the plight of the native American all the way from Nazi Germany, Whiteharness! |
| Delfedd08-15-06, 02:48 PM | Troll (Not the race or class, the online jerks.) Please ignore. Really, you should bring these things up over the PMs, not in the thread. I appologise if you aren't or if you're a native american, but bringing Nazi's into anything usually makes a thread degenerate. Also, Chief is also something that people call each other. |
| WhiteHarness08-15-06, 02:56 PM | Oh, I suppose it would be kind of hard to notice the plight of the native American all the way from Nazi Germany, Whiteharness! What's the matter with you? "Nazi Germany???" You're being facetious, right? The word "chief" entered the English language long, long before we had any contact with native Americans, and they don't have any sort of monopoly on the word. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/chief When I hear the word "chief" I immediately think naval rank (chief petty officer, etc.), not tribal headmen. Please tell me you're not serious. How can you read any racism into my comment? |
| Delfedd08-15-06, 02:58 PM | Come on guys, lets not kill threads. |
