These descriptions seems to imply that this armor is lighter than a normal 40 lb. Chainmail... Yet, the weight is not listed! What would it weight? RiTz21 P.S. Yes I submitted this to WotC: Richard, Unfortunately there isn't a weight listed, so there isn't an official rule for this. You would need to consult with your DM for a ruling. Take Care! mato_hibiki 01-23-08, 02:58 PM	How is this a big deal? Just take the weight of a chain shirt or something and be done with it. Seriously, this game has much bigger problems than a little armor weight. Relax, or you'll pop something vital.

Relax, or you'll pop something vital. +1 If weight is of concern in an epic game, I think you might be playing Dungeons and Accountants. By the way, the rules lawyer answer would be that it weighs the same as regular chainmail, because it is +7 Chainmail at heart. All the flavor text in the world can't change mechanics. The only other "logical" weight (assuming that you think D&D weights are logical in the first place) would be half as much as normal chain mail because you could claim the reduction from medium to light armor is due to mithral.

It is called Celestial Armor in the SRD: Celestial Armor (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/magicArmor.htm#celestialArmor). That armor has a nearly identical description, except it specifies a weight and has lower bonuses. At most, the more expensive armor should likely weigh 20 pounds.
