Armor of Truth:

This suit of Banded Mail armor is made of exotic leather backing with bands of gleaming mithril. The suit will expand or contract to fit any small to medium sized creature. It weighs very little, yet is it extremely resilient and tough. On the breast area are several sigils of truth, justice, and honor. If magic is detected for it will radiate an aura of transmutation.

The armor is equal to Banded Mail +3. It has a maximum dexterity bonus of +3, and a skill check penalty of -3. The arcane spell failure chance of the armor is 25%. Upon command (3/day) the armor will allow the wearer to recognize any lie or falsehood uttered in their presence. When this occurs the sigils on the breastplate will emit a red glow when a lie or falsehood is told.

The armor is however semi-cursed. It will not allow the wearer to utter any type of falsehood or provide misinformation. If this occurs the armor will contract causing 1d6 damage to the wearer. Each time that another falsehood or bit of misinformation is uttered the armor will further contract doing a like amount of damage.

While the armor is contracted (After any falsehood or misinformation) the wearer is denied any type of dexterity bonus. Furthermore the wearer will have their base movement reduced by 10 feet while the armor is contracted.

The armor will expand back to its normal dimensions at precisely 6am everyday.

A remove curse, break enchantment, limited wish, or stronger magic is needed to remove the armor once donned.
