04-28-05, 11:47 AM Please pour your home brewed or other source options into this thread. I'm looking for the extrodinary out of the ordinary armor that isn't listed in the PHB. If you could list sources and or stats/costs ect. that would be great.

Some i've heard of.

Mountain Full Plate ac 12 dex mod 2 CAN NOT RUN WHEN WEARING
(can't remember name) ac 8 dex mod 1 IF YOU MOVE 5' OR LESS AC10

04-28-05, 02:41 PM Gorgon studded leather from Quintessential Rogue. something like a +7 armor, +5 dex i think.

04-28-05, 05:39 PM races of stone, damn those dwarves are good at what they do, mountain plate is actually +9 and must be made of mithril tho it stays heavy. races of stone and libris mortis are where it is at for armour

04-28-05, 05:46 PM Different types of mundane armor can also be found in Planar Handbook, Underdark, Races of Faerūn, and Races of the Wild.

AC +7, Max Dex +2, ACP -5, Cost 1250 GP.

3/4 Plate is a later development of full plate, for use when guns were starting to make armor obsolete. It's basically a suit of full plate with lighter protection on the legs for added mobility.

In a recent armor of Dragon magazine they had a bunch of stuff for Darksun campaigns. This included stuff like Chitin and Bone armor(being heavy and light, respectively). I suggest you check it out. I dont remember the stats for the chitin armor but I believe the bone armor was AC +3 dex bonus 5

I read in a post somewhere that someone had like 5 types of Heavy armor listed. I was hoping to get something like that. Mainly looking for heavy armor types ac dex mod and cost to buy.
