Aagh...where WAS it? I don't think it was Lords of Madness...I'm not sure...maybe the Arms and Equipment guide?

Magical armor usually resizes to fit the user.

Unless you find a rule that states overwise.

so, for example, you could buy bracers of armor (which would change size as needed) and get an armor bonus to your AC by that.

other than that, i am not sure... but there is some kind of hide armor enchantment or some such thing... beastskin armor i believe it's called.

05-30-05, 07:00 PM not sure. i know wild armor doesn't say it does, but i haven't actually seen the stats for beastskin. mostly i've just heard of it as a sub-optimal version of wild armor =P

in any event, i think you could make a customised armor that would change shape with you...

probably +2 if it only goes to 1 or 2 specific forms (you should only need 1 other form, 'cause hybrid is close enough i think), +3 if you want it to handle any form.

but that's just a guess.

oh, and in either case, i don't think it would meld and still provide bonuses like wild armor...

05-30-05, 07:25 PM Beastskin is specifically for wildshaping (it even requires a daily wildshape use) I very much doubt a were animal would benefit from it.

I dont think other items change when you change form either:
Alternate Form (Su): A lycanthrope can shift into animal form as though using the polymorph spell on itself, though its gear is not affected,

05-30-05, 08:27 PM Take less HD and to keep from changing size. That's the easiest way.

I don't have it with me, but there's a line where it talks about Lycanthropes breaking their armor when they change size. It says something about a DC to resist breaking too.

Another way around it would be to make a ring of Enlarge Person. Enlarge first, and it will size up your items. Not sure on the cost, but I doubt it would be horrid.

If you are playing 3.0, it does in fact resize.

In 3.5, they deleted that line of text.

I would say that Wild armor would do it, but it specifically says wildshape, on the grounds that only Druids should be able to benefit from shapechanging magic, lord help a wizard cast polymorph on a fighter, that would be teh borken! lolz! :rolleyes:
