| IMarvinTPA02-04-05, 02:58 PM | Hi, I'm looking for a base type of armor that has the following qualities, and i just can't either find it or remember what it's called. It might just be a simple shirt, but I need to know where the rules support it. I'm looking for 0 AC or better, 0 AC Check Penalty, 0% arcane spell failure, and 1lb or less. I want a +1 something of Soulfire (+4, Complete Divine; I think)) and Proof against Transmutation (+5, Complete Arcane, I'm not sure about the name)). Soulfire is a permanent death ward and Proof against Transmutation does something similar to Transmutation spells. Basically, I'll be fearless against Disintegrate, Finger of Death, Slay Living, Harm, Baleful Polymorph, etc. After that, it's on to getting Hide Life... "I'll go check the room out!" (Boom, smash, crash, zap, zap, boom!) Stagger back, "I'll take a heal or two, please. And watch the pokey bits." IMarv |

It might be more economical to buy a +1 mithral buckler of PaT and a +1 shirt of Soulfire instead. That would cost only 36,000 gp + 25,000 gp or 64k gp instead of a 100k and would also allow me to protect my investments (or loose less if one gets destroyed and not the other.) I'll see what I can do. Thanks, IMarv |
