sluggo 04-17-07, 09:21 AM	I am currently playing a level 13 Warblade with Elven Plate Mail of Speed, and some magic items to help boost my AC (ring of protection, Amulet of NA etc...). Someone in my group just got the Dragon Magic book, I was looking through it to see if there was anything I liked in it (DM allows us to change our characters slighty when someone gets a new book) and the Dragon Husk optional abilty caught my eye. Would I be better off taking that abilty and spending more money (what I would get back on my armor) upgrading the my other magical items or am I better off with the armor I have? Thanks
wonlee76 04-17-07, 11:23 AM	Generally, I prefer magical armor for the extra armor enhancements you can eventually get. Dragon Husk is okay if you strictly want the AC boost though I'm not a big fan of the armor check penalty and reduction in speed since its considered medium armor. But if you want things like Fortification, Speed, Mithral Armor, Heavy Armor Optimization feats or what have you, you're generally better off with having magical armor vs. Dragon Husk.
