You can have more than one, but you only gain the bonus to Strength/AC once.

Hmm, what about the dexterity bonus? Would that stack? I'm guessing no, but I'd rather be sure.

Nope, good old no typed cheese item.

Regardless of it being untyped, it's from the same source. It's the same as how a paladin couldn't get charisma bonus to AC twice by taking paladin and... one of them there prestige classes that grants divine grace (but he could get it twice if it was granted from a different class ability... ).

Str and Dex is unnamed bonus and stack ok.
And the AC bonus is DEFLECTION, it stacks? and with a armor that gives deflection bonus?

Tnx :P

The unnamed bonuses won't stack, since they're from the same source. Just how like multiple Orange Ioun Stones do not stack.

Deflection bonuses don't stack.

Now quit being so munchkiny! :P

Why? :thinks:
Because munchkin behavior can make DMs go berserk. And you don't want your DM to go berserk. :D

Why? :thinks:

Don't provoke them! The laws of anti-munchkinism forbid munchkinry by pain of counter munchinkinry. This is also known as the DM plopping an army of ten thousand epic barbarians and five thousand assassins to hunt you down for your munchkiny ways. I say again, do not provoke them!

Personally, I'd say the abilities that are unnamed WILL stack, but remember the Arms of Nyr are a) sort of slotted, and b) unless you get really lucky and find a pair of them that fit the correct arms, you're SOL.

Additionally, remember: you need to take one of your own arms off to use it. How many times do you want to take a meat cleaver to yourself?

Not to mention that since they're magical items, they shut down in anti-magic fields.

That's also a nice point. Also, they can be diabled by a targeted dispell magic...

They're not all that great, provided you realise that they're replacements for LOST LIMBS. How many even remotely sane PCs will be willing to take limbs off for a bonus that can be disabled rather easily?

Oh, and if they're willing to go through with that for the arms... throw them out a Head of Vecna. (Check the boards for a full story.)

It's good for role playing, though. I mean, if they lost their arm in a background story or something.

As far as I know, there's no mechanical means of loosing an arm, anyway...and even if there was, paying for a 'regenerate' spell to be cast on you would be cheaper..

"The unnamed bonuses won't stack, since they're from the same source"
Donīt really, ll four sources...

"Just how like multiple Orange Ioun Stones do not stack."
Great part of iouns stone have 'enchancement' bonus name, other have 'abilities', u can make this or this... and the orange stone donīt give u a bonus.

Arms of Nyr donīt give this abilities for the magic, it is make of mithral and this material give this ability to u, in the discription is not mentioned that he have magic, and nothing about to overcome reduction /magic...

:P

Im my preocuped if i ll obtain or not 4 arms, i can make!
I thinking about the stacking of the bonus...

My english sux : :weep:
