Tzk 03-21-06, 03:12 PM	My DM once mentioned a creature that could be carried and fired like an arrow, but turned into a creature upon landing. It could be launched over walls or behind enemy lines, and returned to arrow form when it had served its purpose. I think it was a creature, because I think he mentioned having to train it. I'm afraid I don't remember much else. Does anyone have a name and/or reference for this?
tarkin 03-21-06, 03:23 PM	In one of the Dragon magazine there were weapon demons. They could turn into weapons, including arrows, and has magical properties related to the demon powers. I think you need to cast a spell, either to force them into the shape or to control them once they were in that form.
