Is the price and weight for arrows on Table 7-5 in the PHB for one arrow or for 20 arrows?

The section on masterwork weapons on p. 122 says: "The masterwork quality adds 300 gp the cost of a normal weapon (or 6 gp to the cost of a single unit of ammunition, such as an arrow). For example, a masterwork bastard sword costs 335 gp, while a set of 10 masterwork arrows costs 70 gp."

This seems to indicate that the price of one masterwork arrow is 7 gp, so the price of one regular arrow should be 1 gp. However, 3 lbs. seems a bit heavy for one arrow. The same goes for crossbow bolts and sling bullets. Can anyone clarify this?

I seem to recall that being mentioned in either the Errata or FAQ somewhere - it's 1 gp for 20 arrows, the example in the MW paragraph is erroneous.

:b: Its more because WOTC like to play with funny numbers.

1MW arrow is 7gp / 50MW arrows is 350gp / you enhance 50 arrows at a time / a quiver hold 20 arrows

50 +1 arrows cost 2350gp / one quiver costs 940gps

20 arrows=3lbs so each arrow is about .15lbs or 2.4 ounces
10 bullets= 5lbs so each bullet is 1/2 lb or 8 ounces
10 crossbow bolts=1lb so a bolt is 1/10 of a lb or 1.6 ounces
and the price for 1 arrow would be 5 cp,1 bullet would be 1cp,1 bolt would be 1sp

it specifically says add 6gp to each unit of ammunition regardless of what it says 20 arrows for 1 gp is 1 arrow for 5cp and add master work thats 6gp&5cp for a masterwork arrow and 121gp for a quiver of 20 masterwork arrows
hope this helps
