| JLaurHughes08-12-07, 07:45 PM | I believe the Arms&Equipment guide had blunt arrows in it. I believe it would be able to get sunder attempts, however without the strength bonus it's not worth it to have the arrows to sunder with. |

The opposed attack rolls use whatever attribute you use for the attack, which would be Dexterity for a bow. The damage dealt would include the weapon's normal damage, any magical enhancement bonuses, a Strength bonus from a specially crafted composite bow, and extra damage from feats such as Point Blank Shot and Weapon Specialization. As long as you do enough damage to exceed the target's hardness you can reduce its hit points. |
| Tedronai08-14-07, 12:34 AM | Since you're attacking the WEAPON, and not the person holding it, you won't be getting that sneak attack, sudden strike, skirmish, favoured enemy, or whatever other such bonuses you have relying on the type of creature or the ability to strike a particularly vulnerable point on that creature. There is no such thing as Favoured Enemy: object (regardless of the fact that one of the players I know seems to quite definitely have favoured enemy: character sheet), nor are any objects subject to precision damage such as those listed above, or to multiplied damage from critical hits. |
