My player have taken a "Fate" card in DMT,that is:
Fates: This card enables the character to avoid even an instantaneous occurrence if so desired, for the fabric of reality is unraveled and respun. Note that it does not enable something to happen. It can only stop something from happening or reverse a past occurrence. The reversal is only for the character who drew the card; other party members may have to endure the situation.
A situation is, he is dead by my NPC warrior, then my NPC take his artifact away from his dead body.

1)I know he can avoid this dead effect by this card. But, can he avoid my NPC to take his artifact by this card?
2)If yes, any time limit for using this card?
3)Any advise to avoid this card effect? An anti-magic field works?
4)Since Deck of many thing is only an minor artifact, is it still work in Anti-magic field (mortal spell)?
5)How about the Anti-magic field cast by immortal / another artifact?
6)If after my NPC taken his artifact and will become deity, can this card still effect?
7)Final question, if the fate card is draw by other character, is the card not effect in this case since The reversal is only for the character who drew the card ?

1) He wouldn't be dead, so the NPC would have to deal with the living character.
2)Doubt there is, its an artifact.
3)Hit 'em twice. Make him waste it prematurely
4)Should nullify, nothing in either texts make artifacts immune.
5)See 4.
6)See 2.
7)I think it would still be in effect, all but 2 cards are reshuffled, presumably the magic would work again.

*Disclaimer: These answers might not be 100% true, the rules are grey on the item

And just out of curiousity, why don't you want that 1 character to be able t use his card?
