| Xalphe03-11-06, 06:46 AM | I am trying to find out which book the axe of the dwarvish lords is in. I think its an artifact but I'm not sure. Any help would be good. |
| gbnogkfs03-11-06, 08:21 AM | there is an old mega-adventure (7,8 years ago) for AD&D 2nd Edition "The Axe of the Dwarven Lords" or something like that, that draws from even earlier adventures and supplements... then there's an article of 4 or 5 years ago in Dragon, or in the Living Greyhawk Journal, about a list of artifacts from the Greyhawk setting, but it doesn't say much more than names and suggested 3rd Edition powers. :( |
| vorpal foot03-11-06, 08:56 AM | I think it might be in the epic level handbook |
| RaspK FOG03-11-06, 12:05 PM | It can be found in the following sources: an old book from TSR that had many artifacts for generic campaign usage, the adventure The Ax(e?) of the Dwarvish Lords (which gave ideas for use in the various published campaign settings of the time), and the Epic Level Handbook. |
| Chrono Nexus03-11-06, 12:12 PM | The most recent Dragon magazine mentions it- look at the equipment of the example PC in "Ecology of the Adventurer" |
| Xalphe03-12-06, 03:18 PM | it was in the epic level handbook, a bit too powerful to have as a end of game reward. I had seen it in dragon and wanted to know what it was again. |
| Kursk03-12-06, 04:09 PM | It's in the 1st Ed DMG I think. I haven't looked at mine in years. |
| gbnogkfs03-13-06, 04:45 PM | oh, yes... the ELH... it's among the major artifacts, page 152 |
