Bloodsoul

So, long ago one of my early D&D characters became a deity (DM's idea for his own character, she just got caught in the middle). She gained power, influence, worshippers, all that good stuff.. and what's a deity without an artifact or two to play with, right?

Well, this particular character had her origins in the "Create-A-Soul" mode of SoulCalibur III. So I, in all my infinite originality, decided to make some of these artifacts tie in with her origins. I'm just looking for help both in their statistics and flavour text, please.

Minor Artifacts
Love Potion no. 9
This sweet-tasting liquid causes the character drinking it to become forever charmed with the first creature she sees after consuming the draft (as charm monster, Will DC 16 negates).
Strong transmutation; Caster Level: 20th; Weight: --.

An improved version of the Elixir of Love. The permanent duration might be a bit much, but then the DC's fairly high, too (still not sure how to handle DCs for items, so I just went with 10+spell level+Charisma+Spell Focus (Enchantment) (finally found out how to calculate item DCs).

Major Artifacts
Rune Blade
Favoured by spellcasters, this +6 starmetal jian is an ornate weapon with a long, thin blade, the bottom half of which appears to wrap around itself; this detail does not hinder it's effectiveness in the slightest. Possessing an improved version of the spell storing ability, a single targeted spell of any level may be stored into the blade. If a spell is already stored when first picked up, the wielder is automatically made aware of this fact. The stored spell may be discharged on a successful, damaging attack as a free action. However, while a spell is stored, the Rune Blade provides the wielder with fast healing equal to the level of the spell stored (this supernatural effect does not stack with any fast healing the wielder may already possess). When making a successful attack of opportunity, the wielder is also healed by an amount equal to the spell level. When a stored spell is discharged, the healing effects of the weapon are suppressed, but another single, targeted spell may then be stored into it.

From the Chinese Blade discipline, it had two abilities, "health recovers gradually" and "recover health when successfully guard impacting". Well, the first just screamed of fast healing, but the closest I could get to the counter attack mechanics of guard impacting were attacks of opportunity. The spell storing feature was more for added spellcaster flavour and mainly because I couldn't decide on the set number for the healing.

Witch's Robe
Lined with the smoothest, white silk and adorned with fine, blue fur, this elegant garment fits tightly around the wearer while providing the highest quality in comfort. It is enchanted with a heavy fortification effect, preventing the extra damage from sneak attacks and critical hits.

Yawn. One of the Create-A-Soul pieces, I just wanted an artifact that had heavy fort. A friend happened to mention off hand that early bullet proof vests were made from silk, so it seemed to work at the time.

Demon Knife
Rumoured to have been ripped from the claw of a former Demon Prince, this Gargantuan +7 adamantine dagger is a massive weapon capable of knocking foes away with devestating might. The wielder applies one-and-a-half times his strength modifier when wielding it one-handed, and twice his strength modifier when wielding it two-handed. Also, as a standard action, the wielder may choose to subtract 4 from his melee attack roll and deliver an awesome blow. If the wielder hits a corporeal opponent of medium or smaller size, the opponent must succeed on a Reflex save (DC = damage dealt) or be knocked flying 10 feet in a direction of the wielder’s choice and fall prone. The wielder can only push the opponent in a straight line, and the opponent can’t move closer to the wielder than the square it started in. If an obstacle prevents the completion of the opponent’s move, the opponent and the obstacle each take 1d6 points of damage, and the opponent stops in the space adjacent to the obstacle. Finally, if the wielder possesses the Cleave feat, they gain Great Cleave as a bonus feat while wielding Demon Knife.

From the Iron Sword discipline, this one also had two abilities, "increased attack power" and "increased pushback force", aka, Uncanny Blow and Awesome Blow. Granted, a Gargantuan dagger probably doesn't count as Exotic for a Medium-sized character (especially since it could only be wielded as two-handed, anyway) but, while an enhancement bonus could be interpreted as increased damage, almost all of the weapons in SoulCalibur could be considered magic weapons, each with atleast a +1 enhancement. So, Uncanny Blow's effect seemed the best alternative. Awesome Blow's a bit much for "increased pushback force", especially since the weapon would allow a Medium-sized character to use it against another Medium-sized character but, again, closest thing I could come up. Now, if recall correctly, the DMG had a small section about weapons of particular sizes being used as weapons for different sized character; in short, that a Gargantuan dagger would effictively be a Medium greatsword, except with a -6 penalty on attack rows (makes sense, since I imagine this thing would weigh in at around 500lbs or so).

So, help, please? I'd say some of these could definitely use a bit of rewriting, atleast (I feel ill about practically copying and pasting text from similar effects).
