| ĐēşţĩŊŷ07-28-05, 07:18 AM | Some artifacts i've been working on, were meant for an Exalted campaign, but whatever :) Fire Glove The Fire Glove were crafted by the great primordial god of fire, Innourouk, to allow his most passionate, cruel, and powerful servant to wield an exact duplicate of the god sword Incinerator of Souls. The sole function this artifact has is to prevent the wearer of the blade to suffer a horrible flaming death. To "equip" this glove the wearer must travel to a place of great fire, volcano, the great fire pillars of the south or something a like, and put the glove on and submerge his hand into the lava, this binds the glove to the wearer, effectively making it his hand. http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b51/Destinies/FireGloveWotC.jpg Dagger of Hungry Souls This finely crafted dagger was crafted by the great witchqueen of Anmar, shortly after she got tired of it and gave it to her most trusted servant, he fell victim to the corruptive power of the dagger and tried to assasinate her, she obliterated him outright and captured his soul in the dagger. The dagger craves the souls of mortals and immortals alike. Powers: Upon slaying a mortal the bearer may take the soul of the deceased to imbue himself. The wearer gains a fixed number of soul points which are based on the deceased HD, he may maximum hold twice his own level in points. He may use the points on the following 1: +2 Str, Dex and Con for 3 rounds 2: +3 Str, Dex, Con and +1 Hp for 4 rounds. 3: +4 Str, Dex, Cond and +2 Hp for 5 rounds. 4: +5 Str, Dex, Con and +4 Hp for 5 rounds. Furthermore he may heal himself for 2 hp per soul point, or boost his caster level by 1 per 3 SP, maximum +3. +4 Acid Souldrinking Dagger of Poison http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b51/Destinies/DaggerofAcidWotC.jpg Robe of Arrow Immunity A powerful sorcerer once crafted this robe because he got furious when annoying hobgoblins ruined his fine garments with pesky arrows. This robe grants the wearer complete immunity to all sorts of arrows, magical or otherwise, however magic arrows will still strike true and righteous. History: The sorcerer Razputin crafted this robe in ancient times. The robe, despite its name, holds many secret and mystical powers which will be revealed as the bearer advances in level. However these powers comes at a price, the owner resembles a fiend more and more as he becomes more powerful, and loses parts of his humanity, for every 5th level the character loses 1 point from Str, Dex and Con but gains 1 Charisma. Consult the following table for details. Level Powers 1-5th Half Charisma bonus to ac. 6-10th Full Charisma, 1 extra 1st, 2nd and 3rd level slot. 11-19th +2 all saving throws, Frightful Presence. 20th Dark Transformation Dark Transformation (Sp, Epic) The owner is completely consumed by his inner darkess and is forevermore treated as an Outsider, he can however still be raised or resurrected. Horns sprout from his forehead, a long thick tail, a malign glow shines brightly in his red eyes, his legs resembles those of a ram and giant spikes sprouts from the back. He grows one size catagory larger. This proces is extremly painful but certainly worth it, the proces immidietly deals 80 damage, and consumes the owner in dark flames sending him into coma for a year and a day. http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b51/Destinies/RobeofArrowImmunityWotC.jpg Gauntlet of Death The gauntlet makes the wearer capable of destroying a mortal with a mere touch, Finger of Death/3 day, the target must succeed at a fortitude save 21 or be obliterated. If the wearer doesn't kill atleast 1 human per day, he will suffer a terrible death and his soul will be brought to the underworld and drained of energy. http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b51/Destinies/GloveofDeathWotC.jpg You're free to comment however you want, tell me your opinions. |

This might change with more backstory though, since it is the backstory that creates the artifact, usually anyway. Eitherway, with some work, these could turn out very well. |

| ĐēşţĩŊŷ07-28-05, 08:08 AM | That should do for now. I can't think of anything for the gauntlet of death, any ideas? :) |
