I'm thinking of making a new character and am tired of the more clasic weopons. Any ideas would help. thanks.

These really depend on your number of sourcebooks or willingness to homebrew stuff, but I like:

Bladed chakram

Scissors punching daggers

shuriken-on-a-thread

razor wire

sword-chucks, yo

And, last of all, anything will be cooler if you make it out of your enemies. For example, a whip-dagger made from a displacer beast tentacle, with the claw of a red dragon on the end, dipped in the toxic blood of a mind flayer, is and forever will be much cooler than a +1 whip with drow poison on the end.

I take pride in making weapons out of undead monsters. You know, like taking an skelton's shin bone and turning it into a club. Or maybe stabbing something witha young dragon's claw that you took from it's corpse. Or my personal favorite, putting your own hands in acid and having someone attach metal braces and barbed wire to them while they're being sharpened so that you can attack with a sharp, claw-like tearing, ripping, almost club like when puching weapon attached to you without penalty. Side effects may include complete loss of skin and feeling in hands.

An ink quill.

Once your death attack is successful you can quip, "The pen IS mightier than the sword!"
