DerkathTheMighty 01-19-06, 11:35 PM	Hey, working on a new rogue character... going to be an assassain, and I had an idea... I know Black Lotus Extract and Pure Black Lotus Extract are very powerful contact poisons. I was wondering about this angle though... I was going to sneak into a marks room, and use the check to apply the poison to an item I know that they will touch. I was also going to have a glove that was coated in a different poison, or just another dose of the origional poison. Then when the mark picks up that item and the first poison acts I was going to disguise myself as a healer and touch the mark with the poisoned gloves. This would act as two poisons acting in one person... or just a second dose. My questions are as follows... would it work, what are the checks to apply the poison to the item (since they got rid of alchemy), and what type of poisons would you suggest... the obvious end being death of the mark. Thanks for the help!

Which is actually preferable at lower levels. My questions are as follows... would it work, If the mark fails his saves, then yes. ;) what are the checks to apply the poison to the item No check needed. I believe applying poison is a standard action and that there is a 5% chance that you expose yourself to the poison. Assassin's have poison use as a class ability, though (I think), so that does not apply to them.
