02-14-05, 12:06 AM Does the Deft Strike feat allow a character to deal damage against creatures with high natural armor/armor bonuses, while using a whip?

02-14-05, 12:14 AM I'd have to say no. The attack ignores natural armor bonus and armor bonus (essentially becoming a touch attack) but that works for the purpose of ac only. The creature still has natural armor, and creatures with natural armor still resist the whip.

Just use the Whip Dagger it solves the problems associated with whips. (Plus you get both Proficiency for Proficiency with other whip)
