| potterfan8707-21-06, 07:09 PM | This question came up when I purchased 2 Morningstars +5 each have speed. I have a Strength modifier of 6 and Improved 2 weapon fighting. I think my attack bonus goes like this, 21/16/11/6 and for them having speed 21/21. My first question is, can I swing 3 times with each weapon or do i have only 2 with my primary hand. If I can swing 3 times with my primary hand and off-hand, would that decrease the attack bonuses between each swing? What would the attack bonus equal to? When would I be able to use the speed attack bonus for the morningstars? |

| Sledged07-22-06, 02:29 AM | First, what is your BAB? You say your net attack bonus is +21, so with the following adjustments: +5 (enhancement) +6 (Str) = +11 your BAB would have to be +10/+5. Based on that, without speed or 2WF your full attack routine is +21/+16. With TWF (with the feats 2WF and I2WF and a non-light off hand weapon) it's +17/+12 primary and +17/+12 off hand. With a weapon of speed in your primary hand it's +17/+17/+12 primary and +17/+12 off hand. With a weapon of speed in your off hand it's +17/+12 primary and +17/+17/+12 off hand. With weapons of speed in both hands it's +17/+12 primary, +17/+12 off hand, and +17 with either weapon of the character's choice. You don't get an extra attack with each hand; just one or the other, because the "benefit is not cumulative with similar effects, such as a haste spell." |
| potterfan8707-22-06, 11:05 AM | So if I were to switch the off-hand morningstar with a +5 sickle with speed, what would it all equal to? I also have whirling frenzy which gives one extra attack per round, so how would all that fit in? |
| Sledged07-22-06, 11:27 AM | So if I were to switch the off-hand morningstar with a +5 sickle with speed, what would it all equal to?+19/+14 primary hand, +19/+14 off hand, and +19 either hand.I also have whirling frenzy which gives one extra attack per round, so how would all that fit in?With the frenzy Str boost, it's +21/+16 primary hand, +21/+16 off hand, and +21 either hand. If you choose take the extra attack whirling frenzy offers, it's +19/+14 primary hand, +19/+14 off hand, and +19/+19 either hand. |
| potterfan8707-22-06, 10:05 PM | Does the +19/+19 only go to one hand or can I give each hand the +19/+19 like this, +19/+19/+14 for my primary hand and +19/+19/+14 for my off-hand? |
| Seerow07-22-06, 10:46 PM | How has nobody said that speed doesn't stack with itself in this thread yet? It doesn't. Having two weapons of speed is a waste of money, you only get one extra attack with it. Period. |

Having two weapons of speed is a waste of money, you only get one extra attack with it. Period. Reiterated. Come on, people. Speed says specifically that it does not stack with other similar effects. And it's pretty obviously 'similar' to itself. |
| Sledged07-23-06, 12:14 AM | Does the +19/+19 only go to one hand or can I give each hand the +19/+19 like this, +19/+19/+14 for my primary hand and +19/+19/+14 for my off-hand?The extra attacks may be split up.How has nobody said that speed doesn't stack with itself in this thread yet?Yes, it's been mentioned:You don't get an extra attack with each hand; just one or the other, because the "benefit is not cumulative with similar effects, such as a haste spell." |
