I'm not a new player. I've been playing for about 3 years now and have memorised most of the rules. But could you please confirm something that the PHB makes REALLY confusing:
Does there have to be two attacks in your BAB line for you to get two attacks, or can you still get more tha one attack if your BAB is higher than 5 (eg a lvl3 ftr/lvl 3 rngr)?

If your base attack bonus is higher than 5, then your character will have more than one attack.

correct, the extra lines are showing you the result of being a straight class, to make the math easier. Just add up your total BaB, then calculate from there.

Read BAB under the multiclassing rules on PH pg 59. There's even an example.
