| dengarbountyhunter07-05-07, 06:10 PM | These weapons are balanced, but because such long reach has no precedent (EXCEPT for the whip, but it's more of a disarm/trip tool than a weapon), it makes it hard to decide if it should be allowed. I have nothing against it personally, and it makes sense historically. And yet, there's this strange feeling about it... Plus, it would give medium-sized (and Small-sized) characters a better chance against those very big creatures... Although it could get ugly if a Titan wielded an exotic awl pike (maybe call it "sarissa", like the Greek 6 meter-long beast of a spear)... |
