Shandrakor 09-06-04, 02:29 AM	The PHB and SRD give us the values for monks of Small, Medium, and Large Size. However, what happens when a Monk PC who is already Large gains another size increase? I think a Huge Monk would do 2d8, 4d6, 4d8, 6d6, 6d8, 8d8. That would make Gargantuan monks do 3d8, 6d6, 6d8, 9d6, 9d8, 12d8. That means Colossal monks would do..errmmm...help? How do I scale 3d8 upwards? What about Colossal ? I ask because I have a PC who is Large. Then he got a Monk's Belt, which doesn't change the table but does allow the monk to move up on the table. My reading of the Fanged Ring from Dragon moves you up the size chart to an entirely new table; in this case from Large to Huge. The feat Improved Natural Attack, which monks qualify for, would either move the monk to the Gargantuan table, or do....something else? And if said Monk takes a level of Warmind, he can then manifest Expansion, changing his size and moving him to a new table. After 7 levels of Warmind, he'll be able to move up not one, but TWO size tables. I think I would then have a PC who...errrmm....eludes my math skills. Help? FYI, the DM has already 'OK'ed the character, given that he plans on throwing things rather above our challenge rating at us. Did I get the tables for Huge and Gargantuan monks right? How do I scale 3d8 (Gargantuan monk) up to Colossal? Thanks for your help in advance!
SALDAR 09-06-04, 03:00 AM	A monk's unarmed strike is not a natural weapon so they do not qualify for Improved Natural Attack. As for increased damage from size increases use table 2-2 on pg 28 of the DMG (3.5). Find the damage for your present size and then move right on that row.
