| Cadwyn09-18-06, 01:32 PM | Does BAB decide how many attacks you can make with natural weapons? If not, is there a way to do more attacks? I mean, a Werewolf lvl20 fighter...does he make 2 claw attacks and 1 bite, or 2 claw attacks at Full BAB, and a Bite attack at -5, then claw attacks acording to BAB? |
| Norsesmithy09-18-06, 01:38 PM | The former, but you can get two claws, a bite, and four unarmed strikes in a turn. |
| Cadwyn09-18-06, 01:43 PM | Mkay, but lets say he's a Werewolf Lord (dire werewolf), since he is Large, does he get slam attacks? and where do they fit in? I base this info on the Natural Weapons descripton in MM 1, where it says that Large creatures get Slam attacks...though I dont know if that is wrong info or something |
| tarkin09-18-06, 02:27 PM | You have misread the monster manual. Merely being large does not give you a natural attack. Certain creatures, if they get bigger may get additional powers, but there is no "large grants a slam attack" rule for all creatures. |
| Cadwyn09-18-06, 02:41 PM | understood, thanks for the help |
| Brendan Candries09-19-06, 09:45 AM | actually you should start with the bab routine, then followup with all natural attacks once as secondary attacks (-5, half str) as long as you didn't use that specific natural weapon/limb/hand/claw for the bab routine (e.g. holding a weapon). mind that you use your own unarmed attack damage for unarmed strikes (not your natural weapon damage) this would mean d3 + str damage for a standard medium creature (non lethal). |
| Norsesmithy09-19-06, 11:29 AM | Or you could take the Improved Unarmed Strike, Superior Unarmed Strike, and Snap Kick feat tree, giving your werewolf fighter 20 a full attack routine of Kick, bite, claw, claw, elbow, headbutt, knee, knee. (if I read the snap kick description correctly, It may mean instead you have to use a manufactured weapon, if so you may have to drop a claw attack and turn the elbow, headbutt, knee, knee routine into elbow, headbutt, knee, kukri) Edit: forgot to say that the unarmed strikes are 2d6s |
