| Behaigo01-17-08, 02:57 PM | As the thread name suggests I am trying to make a bag that has unlimited applications of Dust of Dryness. I'm just wondering how much an item such as this would cost? Thanks. |

| Behaigo01-17-08, 05:10 PM | The primary reason I want this item is to make a stockpile of the pellets the dust leaves behind. I can think of a lot of things to do with thousands of gallons of water at my disposal :D It may also be for a good character, so to make sure I don't destroy any water supplies I will probably be coupling this with a Decanter of Endless Water. |
| Behaigo01-17-08, 05:19 PM | Thinking about it, I looked at the custom magic item creation rules again and saw that to make use-activated items multiply the base cost by 2,000gp (as opposed by single use, which is x 25). So this would be (850 / 25) x 2,000 = 68,000. Does this seem reasonable? |

Still allows the ability to stockpile, and prevents too much abuse, since it can destroy water based elementals. But with that limitation around your price is pretty good. Something like 20-30K +10k per use above 1/day. Its hard to fully balance such things, but if you are using it and don't abuse it, it should be fine. |
