wanna ask sth. about the weapon trait bane and epic damage reduction.

for ex. i have a +4 weapon with evil outsider bane and bash a evil evil fiend with epic damage reduction in his evil face, would i ignore the DR cause my weapon is treated as a +6 weapon ???

same goes for +4 weapon holy !!!

Good question, I would allow it, since in 3.0 a +4 bane weapon would overcome DR X/+6

03-16-07, 07:42 PM I don't think so, since if your weapon is +4 outsider bane, it has a total enhancement bonus of +5.

You just count it for the cost of the weapon.

And as for an evil-outsiderbane and +4 weapon, yes, it will have +6 enhancement and will help you to penetrate DR/epic against evil outsiders.

For +4 holy weapon, no, you cannot penetrate epic DR with it.
