Has anything in dnd replicated it yet? If anyone is unfamiliar, Bane was from the 93-94 Batman comic and was one of the deadliest villains Batman faced.
Bane wore a bracer with tubes attached to his body and when he pushed a button on the bracer, he would be injected with a liquid steroid/amphetamine.

If anyone can point me to something like Bane's bracer give Book and page number please.

I was thinking that a bracer specially made would be able to hold 3 doses of potions and at the push of a button inject them into the wearer. This is an attempt to get around the AoOs that potions normally cause, and to maybe make it a move action to activate the bracer.

Any ideas on this? Good/bad idea? Abusable combos I might not be aware of?

Forget about the move action idea.

Negating the AoO is reasonable and cheap. We are talking about something that costs less than 1,000 gp.

If you want it to move the potion from a Standard action to activate to something less (but still usuable 1/round), just make it count as a Swift action, not an MEA action. MEA allows double use per round - which might be abusable, and frankly I can't see pushing a button being made a move action. A Standard yes - it is activating a magic item, or a swift action, but not an MEA.

Best of all, the Swift action version is easy to price. Compare with a Rod of Lesser Quicken: 35,000 gp

Both take a Standard action -> swift action for a spell effect of 1-3 levels, usable x3 a day.

So for a Bane thing that let you x3 a day use a potion effect as a swift action, price should be 35,0000 gp.

That is quite interesting. Thanks!
(good pointers for a swift use upgrade)

But I was thinking that it would actually be having to be filled with the potions, and usable as long as you have potions in it.- But that 1000 gp idea is interesting- would keep it a standard action, not provoke AoOs and would still be reasonable if they could keep refilling it, right?

I should probably say that this will be for a fellow PC and I am an Artificer, so this is purely for ideas to enter the groups item ideas collection.

Does this seem like something that would fit into normal D&D, or is it too Eberrony or real worldy?
