Banging Heads Together [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-15-05, 06:30 AM Is there any way within the 3.5 combat rules that one creature could bang together the heads of two other creatures? We saw that sort of banging in episodes of Hercules: The Legendary Adventures in the 1990s as well as in The Amazing Adventures of Superman back in the 1950s. It would be neat to be able to do it in the game, but I'm not sure it's possible. Any ideas? Thanks! :)

06-15-05, 09:00 AM Despite the commonness in movies, it looks/sounds like a very hard thing to do.

I would think that it would therefore require at least a feat to accomplish.

Something along the lines of allowing you to grapple two people at once and inflict damage on them both by banging their heads together.

I had a similar thought, and earlier created the following rough draft of such a feat:

Bang Heads

Prerequisites: BAB +6, Improved Unarmed Strike, Improved Grapple, Power Attack

Benefit: As a full-round action when you have two free hands you may attempt to start a grapple with each of two creatures you can reach. Make one grapple check against the opposed grapple checks of both creatures. If your check beats both of theirs, you have grabbed their heads and banged them together. You do damage to both creatures equal to your unarmed damage plus one-and-a-half times your Strength modifier.

Special: You cannot use this feat on a creature more than one size category smaller than yourself. For each size category that you are larger than the largest of your targets, you may add one more creature to the number you can attack with Bang Heads. Your grapple check roll must beat a creature's opposed grapple check roll in order for you to damage it with Bang Heads. You still need to beat the opposed rolls of at least two of your targets to inflict damage with Bang Heads.
