EDIT: Added 1000 gp to the price. 100 for the instrument, 900 for the transformation. And changed the bass recorder to a tenor recorder, since I'm not sure whether or not bass recorders exist. Changed it back. Added guitar. Added violin and ocarina.

03-20-05, 01:43 PM What? No comments at all? Ah well, I guess I should make one myself. I forgot to add in the price of a masterwork instrument, currently the price is that of the weapon. Also, I didn't add anything extra for the transformation part of it.

03-25-05, 11:32 AM It means that the violin is transmuted into a shortbow. The violin in itself is only an instrument, but it becomes a weapon.

03-25-05, 05:46 PM There are indeed bass recorders, they're massive. I'm really glad there are other music enthusiasts on these boards. The violin-shortbow sounds good. The bagpipes (which you MUST do or I will) might be a little harder to adjucate. Maybe a double mace or two-bladed sword? And I think wounding would be a good one for the violin, but that's just me recalling that a good violinist can play some of the saddest music anyone can. The bagpipes could make for a good Thundering weapon. Seems to fit one of the coolest instruments in the world well enough.

03-25-05, 07:35 PM I would think the bagpipes wouldn't turn into a weapon per se, perhaps a set that exude a poisonous gas from the pipes on command, such as Poison or Cloudkill? That would be a terrifying bardic assassin weapon...
