| RayJ12-08-05, 09:11 AM | Do I need any special barding to be able to ride an ethereal creature? Or can the creature allow itself to be ridden without special barding? Working on a spirit animal as an animal companion and am curious to see how it can work. |
| Aufenshauft12-08-05, 09:35 AM | Ethereal creatures can't be ridden on if you are on the prime. Even ghost touched items only work on immaterial things, so you are really out of luck. Now if you are on the Ethereal, then you can easily just Vanish (the spell) the barding to that plane and it can be used there. I suppose you could always houserule an item to be 'Etherealtouched', and effectively act like it was animated by the spirit, but remember that it's speed might not be all that great. |
