Barding for dinosaurs? [Archive] - Wizards Community

Playing a halfling dino-rider.

10-18-06, 11:21 PM AFAIK, barding is barding. Individual for each type of creature, yes, but no more or less expensive. Just use the barding as it is in the PHB.

10-18-06, 11:24 PM Not aware of any specific dino-barding, but I would just charge the normal rate for barding based on the size of the dino, or maybe just a little more, but it would be a bit harder to find, since standard horse barding would still be the "normal" choice outside of areas where dino-barding was in high demand (such as halfling areas in Eberron).

After looking at the description in the SRD again, I agree that it looks like barding can be purchased or created for any animal of the size category. I'll run it by my DM.
