06-28-05, 02:18 PM One-handed. Mithril changes weight of items, but not the weapon category. A mithril greatsword might weight 4lbs, but it still takes two hands to weild.

Mithril allows you to treat armors made from it to be one category lighter for the purposes of movement and other limitations (such as Evasion or combat style), and anyone that says different is very wrong.

But in no way does Mithril lower damage or change the proficiency you need to use an item.
