| Zodiaq703-31-07, 04:36 PM | I know there's probably a book out there with a similar weapon, but I thought this might be fun. I got the idea from the martial art of Hapkido. Battle Cane:1D3(sm)/1D4(med), crit x2, +2 to disarm, can be used to trip. Is considered a special monk weapon. I know this can probably be worded better, but any feedback would be appreciated. |

A kama is a 1d6 x2 weapon that can trip; a nunchaku is a 1d6 x2 weapon that provides a +2 bonus to disarm. The battle cane does both. To keep it balanced with the other monk weapons, you'll want to either ratchet down the damage, or remove either the disarm bonus or the ability to trip. |
