| thenotoriousJIM03-21-07, 09:07 PM | with that kind of money just go to town in the epic section. I think beguiler is pro. in light armor, so mithril breastplate is the shiznit. the price of a +x (epic) to an armor is x^2x10,000. so to reach 1 billion you get a +100 bonus. leaveing you 19 billion. With an AC over 100 from your armor, you are golden. If not reach a little deeper into your pockets for this +200, only 4 billion. You can buy one of anything you want in any book for that much. |

| FrostHammer03-21-07, 10:20 PM | Going with Breastplate means ACP that even Mithril can't reduce to 0. go with Chain shirt. It's only one AC difference, and Lighter to boot. |

| FrostHammer03-22-07, 12:15 AM | no they don't. They ignor ASF. You want to have low or none ACP so you can sneak/hide and other stuff well. |

(100)^2 * 10,000 = 10,000 * 10,000 = 100,000,000 (100 million). For 20 billion, you could get at +1,414 breastplate and still have 6.04 million gold left to buy ... +12 int/cha circlet and gloves (1.44mil each), a Ring of Epic Wizardry IX (.81 mil), a Ring of Universal Energy Immunity (2.16mil) Of course, that only leaves you with 190,000gp pocket money. For my money, rather than the straight +1414 BP, I'd go for the +1393 negating Breastplate of great invulnerability and spell resistance, granting DR 10/epic and SR 27 also. |
