Best Armor Ever? [Archive] - Wizards Community

I personally like the Platinum Dragon Scale offered by the Vassal of Bahamut Prestige Class; is so powerful!

AC = 8
Max Dex = 4

Automatically counts as masterwork! YAY!

My 25th level paladin used that... t'was awesome when combined with a Heavy Fortification shield.

06-25-06, 12:45 PM Look at "Tessellated Armor" from AaEG, pg. 95. It's +2 full plate with a -4 penalty, and it counts as medium armor. Make it mithril, and you've got the least restrictive armor in the game. And it looks like it only takes a standard action to don/remove (that last part is just a guess from the description).

06-25-06, 12:54 PM Gnome Twistcloth is pretty darn useful too, though it's only 1ac, if you're proficient with it, that 1ac and any enhancement bonus you put on it counts towards DEFLECTION. No rays spells gonna hit YOU

06-25-06, 01:05 PM Silverine is pretty powerful. For only 16,000 gp or so you are now immune to ethereal travel, damage from ethereal beings, and any damage from most spells.

However, there are three spells that destroy it immediately. However, unless those come into play, you can laugh at the mages of the world.
