So I'm about to start a new champaign in the Underdark (Greyhawk). We are all starting out at 3rd level (or ECL 3) and I want to have a Half Giant Soulblade L1/Psyonic Warrior L1 (ECL 3) with advancement in both classes until eligible for the Soulbow prestige class. My first thought was Mithril chain Shirt & Darkwood Large shield. With starting gold of 2,700... I don't need to invest in weapons really (maybe a bludgeoning and ranged), but what else do you think? All my other characters seem to be woefully underpowered compared to the other PCs in my games, I just want to finally get a good start for once. Male 1/2 Giant PsyWar1/Soul1 Str 17 (lv 4 inc to 18) Dex 14 Con 16 Int 14 Wis 15 (inc to 16 after reaching soulbow) Cha 8 (yeah, 38 point buy) We are only using WOTC 3.5 books but NOT the Magic Item Compendium :weep: Any ideas would be tremendously appreciated!
