I have a really cool halfling rogue with a shadow template (Dragon magazine #??? ) and i want to give him a cool cloak to complete his look but i still want to have his armor. Any of the other cloaks i looked at prevent wearing armor.Any suggestions?

Just say
"My rogue wears a *****in black silk cloak with silver runners and a mithril-embroidered Confederate flag on the back, bioytch."

Or do you actually want the cloak to do something? But you can wear one as long as it doesn't have any kind of mechanical affect. Kind of like how you can wear ten rings, but only two can be magical.
(I thought you could wear a cloak over armor anyway, but it just couldn't be a robe?)

Depending on level, low Dark cloak of elvenkind(the dark is just for descriptions), high level mantle of great stealth (it's great and evil! Combine with boots of swiftness for massive skill bonuses, and pure awesomeness)

Oh, but halfling does not equal cool.
Now Goblin, goblins are the epitome of cool rogues, and they have darkvision, take that Halflings!*Slaps with +3 dead fish of Halflingbane*

The low was referring to level, the dark just an RP description.
Cloak of elvenkind (2500gp, SRD) gives +5 to hide checks
Boots of swiftness (256000gp, SRD) gives +6 enhancment bonus to dex, Doubles your base land speed, gives you +20 on Balance,Climb,Jump,Tumble and allows haste on self 3/day for 20 rounds each.

The SRD is The System reference Document found at this address:

Oh, and halflings don't have 30ft base speed and don't need a template for DV, so :P .

Cloaks definitely do not preclude the wearing of armour. Also, what's the level adjustment for that shadow template? Goblins ... wow, I guess they do have a 30ft. speed ... With the benefits you've listed for that template it must be at least a two-level adjustment if not more, but I must say halflings are cooler. No one who would eat one's own little brother is cool in my book. Even if he would eat all twenty of them. From that week.

I gave one of my player's a cloak of shadow, it gives +5 to hide in shadow, -5 in bright light, and lets the wearer become incorporeal for a minute a day. As seen in the planar handbook.

Those boots must have some Ego there Aramil...as for a cloak for a thief, i like plain-jane Cloak of resistance +1 through +5 if you don't already have an item that enhances resists. If so, Cloak of minor displacement (20% miss always on) isn't too expensive.

Oh, and no cloaks prevent wearing armor unless it says so specificallyi n the item description.-Lobo13
