just wondering what the best item is that people are using out there...
please state ur characters class and level along with the item being used.

45 monk- Emerald Fists of Kor (epic)
effectivly +15 speed lawful power handwraps
+8 str, con, dex
+12 wis
effective hand size is 3 size categories larger for damage purposes (medium sized monk = 8d6 base damage)
+12 insight to ac
raises quivering palm DC by 15

had to kill a pair of 70 HD green gws to get these bad boys... died twice in the process :D . my friend prices them at over 13,000,000 gp.

I've had on a 57 ftr i had once (long story) i've had a +22 greater keen speed everdancing acidic blast bastardsword made of carcerian bloodemerald (carcerian bloodemerald bastard sword base stats is 2d12 damage 16-20/x5 crit). it gave +125 hp, 8 all stats, 15 profane to ac and saves, and a +20 insight to damage. that one was worth over 50,000,000 gp. hotdamn ;) . unfortunately for him a pair of paragon marlith ftr15s were after his ass :weep:

Everdancing, +15, lawful power, (insert every energy save acid) blast, impact, body feeder, defending, on hit disintegrate DC 30 (epic intelligent item special power) nunchuku. This is what happens when you ROLL on the epic weapons table.

I don't even use the damn thing. When you get 12 attacks a round, having to roll 19d6 for half of them is just too time consuming -- plus, the character doesn't believe it to be a challenge to fight using that weapon, recognizing its power. He sometimes lets it destroy a regiment or two of lesser foes on its own, just to keep it happy.

YOU HAD A HAT?

man... some people get all the luck. and you ARE level one. a level one character in this campaign would be lucky to have clothes, much less a spiffy hat

Actually, I don't have clothes. Just the hat. It's a long story. Hat's nice though.

As a DM, some of these items make me very, very scared. I tend to run low-magic, stingy cash campaigns though...

Coolest items I've created, bottle demons. Little bottled potions (always round, about a pound, filled with swirling, volatile black stuff) that when thrown explode into a demon. To determine the demon's power, you roll 1d6 to determine level of power, then a second to determine how free-willed the demon is. A 6/1 would be an extremely powerful demonic creature who would follow most of your commands, whereas a 1/6 would be a weak demon who'd just run off or attack you.

We've had a few great campaign moments by randomly pitching bottle demons to deal with bad guys. :D

...or throwing bottle demons to deal with rebellious bottle demons, and having that one conjure a bigger and badder one who flies off to wreak havoc on the world...

Intelligent armor.

Has blindsense

Has the following Lesser abilities:

10 ranks in spot
ability to faerie fire
Major Image 1/day
Cure Moderate 3/day

Greater Powers:

Special Purpose Defeat evil
Special purpose Power: True Ressurection.

Works very well. True Ressurection is expensive, but hey, don't you want to get up after being killed?

Level 4 Bard/3 Half-elf Paragon/3 Human Paragon

My lovely +2 Glammored Mithril Breastplate.

With +21 bluff and +26 Diplomacy that armor has gotten me deep within enemy territory without them even knowing I'm an enemy.

That and my Ring of Mind Shielding

lol pretty sweet. epic roles can be really sick. my friend made up the hand wraps, he didnt role for them. i think ur nunchuku is worth over 45,000,000 gp. nice ;).

btw u could just do average damage roll. about 60 damage a hit i think
